History
The overall concept of The 100 began in 1963 in New York City when a group of concerned African American men began to meet to explore ways of improving the conditions in their community.
Since inception, the vision has materialized to be shared by more than 110 chapters with over 10,000 members reaching over 125,000 underserved, underrepresented minority youth annually.
Our motto, “What They See Is What They’ll Be” very succinctly expresses how our programmatic services rendered to disadvantaged, disenfranchised, and low-income youth and families positively change their trajectory.
Our local chapter, The 100 Black Men of Greater Warner Robins, Georgia was founded in July 2023 with a group of dedicated community leaders specifically promoting "Mentoring Across A Lifetime" as a catalyst for positive change in "the Heart of Georgia" during these especially challenging times, to benefit from the programmatic approach of The 100.
We promote Mentoring, specifically "Mentoring Across A Lifetime" through our Junior 100, STEM 360, Collegiate 100 and College & Career Pathways123 Programs.
We encourage all youth to expand their educational horizons by promoting our annual College & Career Fair. Additionally, we also actively engage the community with various Health and Wellness Programs in our region.
OUR MISSION
The mission of The 100 Black Men of Greater Warner Robins, Georgia is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities.
